Begin with a sacred prayer ceremony at the main hall.The priest will personally guide guests to the Oku-shoin, where important cultural properties are kept. Each room is elaborately decorated with beautiful seasonal, natural scenery depicted on gorgeous gold-leaf sliding doors, and the many barrier paintings not open to the public are available to our guests.
The tour culminates in a special French-Japanese fusion lunch, served in the private Shiro-shoinroom, featuring seasonal ingredients from Kagawa.Immerse yourself in history, art, and culture in this once-in-a-lifetime experience at Kotohira Shrine.

　Discover the rare, exquisite pieces produced only once a year through a four-day kiln firing. You’ll have the chance to handle these works and learn how to appreciate their raw, natural beauty.
3. Coffee in Ko-Iga Ware & Artisan Talk (20 minutes)
　Enjoy coffee served in Ko-Iga tea ware while learning about pottery and Awaji Island culture from the artisans. (Matcha available upon request.)
